Cool Buying a 2006 RR SC anything I need to know?

I have owned a 99 Disco II for 10 years now and have decided to upgrade to a 2006 Rover Supercharged. I was looking over some of the consumer reviews on Edmunds.com and wondered if all of the negative comments about reliability are just people who have never owner a Rover before, or if there are really alot of problems with this truck. It took me about 40K miles for my Disco II to get all the little bugs out, but I have driven it hard over the years and I don't have any complaints about reliability. It is a tough truck
The RR that I have put a 'hold' on has 56,400 miles so there is no factory warranty any longer. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated. I was also wondering if anyone knows any companies that offer a warranty on a Rover after the factory warranty has expired?

I would really avoid the warranty companies these days. Their used to be some good ones, but I really feel your just pre paying for repairs. The only warranty I would buy is a Land Rover warranty, which you might be able to do on a Rover of that age. As far as problems I am not certain, like you I used to own a 98 Disco 1, and I recently picked up my 02 Range Rover which is the last of the Range Rovers before the new style. I say pay a Land Rover dealer to do a full inspection, if you get a clean bill of health buy it!
