Really strange engine wiring problem
Hi everyone. I recently had some trouble and came across this:
This wire is coming from the firewall and is going to the positive lead to the coil on cylinder #2 (I think)
Could someone explain why anyone would do this?
the wire color in question is blue/white

TBH, i'm not sure. It looks like the wire is going into the cabin somewhere.
I did trace the wire to the electrical box on the right, but then it moves past the firewall.
Not sure where to start tracing from there.

When i plug my ODB reader in, the codes coming back say that the valve on cylinder 2 is open 😬
Its definitely not open, otherwise my car would probably not be drivable.
I should also note that the engine light goes on and off periodically, so i'm thinking that the wire in question isn't connected all that well.

The error code i've been getting is P0202.
I should note that this error code has been going on and off intermittently. The wiring connection is really awful. I need to get inside the engine again and take a better picture. of the connection itself.
