Default Rear Compressor after tire change

So, last week I had my front passenger side tire changed and I've noticed that I hear it, what I think is, my rear compressor kick in every time I start my car. It does not kick in if turn off the car for, say, less than 30 minutes. But if it sits longer than that, it kicks in and it's LOUD. It eventually stops after about a minute, and everything is fine. I have a feeling it started doing this after it was put on a lift.

Do I need to reset it or something? I'm afraid it's going to prematurely wear out.

Thoughts?

That sounds normal. My truck does the same thing if it sits longer than half hour.

Is yours fairly loud? I don't remember hearing it so loud before.

Have you stuck your head under to see whether they may have cracked the compressor cover?

Check for cracked compressor aluminum bracket. They usually break, when somebody lifts the truck up ,placing the jack directly under the plastic cover assuming ,that this is a valid point for lifting an lr3.

I will look under it and see if the compressor body is cracked. I am noticing it run longer and more often lately. It's making me a little nervous.......
