Default Rear hatch adjustment

My rear tailgate and hatch operate fine. I noticed a whistling coming from the rear about about 40 MPH. It's coming from the rear. When looking for a damaged seal I noticed that the rear hatch doesn't seem to align when it's closed. It's fine right to left, but it should be pulled about 1-2mm closer to the tailgate when closed.

Is this latching mechanism adjustable? Assume I'd have to get all the trim work off the tailgate to do this? Can't seem to find any info on this adjustment online.

What year disco do you have? Have you checked RAVE manual yet? Here is a link to the D2 manuel http://www.landroverresource.com/doc...hop_Manual.pdf

'06 LR3. I'll go look for an LR3 manual. Was hoping this was a common adjustment.

I changed and adjusted my hatch and gate , they don't align as good as the should IMO, and we have to slam the hatch or get an open tailgate warning, I have not tried another lr3 so no idea what's normal
