Rear Viw Mirror buttons???
Hi all newbie here [&:]
but been checking the site out for a while now and always find it interesting...Anyways just about to jump feet first into my 6th Landie - one day I'll wake up and smell the coffee! - this one is a very respectable 06 Disco 3 HSE Auto with all the toys ex Ford management car blah blah blah...
My question to the panel: It's one of the onboard toys that has everyone foxed at the dealership. It is the rear view mirror whichhas 5 buttons on the bottom edge. 3 of the buttons have an picture on whichlook like small houses but are actually arrows with decreasing sized arrows on each button the other 2 buttons are simply on and off buttons to power the gizmo up. Can someone tell me what they do please before I press one and accidentally annihilate the vehicle in front of me!!?[]
regards
Colin

RE: Rear Viw Mirror buttons???
If I may help clarify what Rover_boy already said, the 3 buttons with the house picture are programable "remote control" buttons. They can be programed to operate any system in your home (within range) that normaly uses a remote control. An often used setup is to have one of them open your garage, another turn on your perimeter or indoor lights and the last toarm/disarm your home security.
