Thanks. Now I am more confused. I only meant to buy the pulleys for the tensions - main and accessory. Have I purchased the wrong one for one of them?

Happy Thanksgiving BTW - up here in Canada we had ours last month...

Well you should replace all three anyway. The idler certainly goes bad and it’s easy to replace. I don’t have all the specs on hand right now and I am in bed. But I think I had a post on this topic before. I may have listed the parts, etc.

My tensioner from rock auto shows spec as 25mm width

The spec on the tensioner unit (full unit) show the pulley with a spec of 30.5

Should I worry? 5mm isn't insignificant...

Actually 5mm is significant. Again there are two tensioners, they are not the same or interchangeable. Also both belts are not the same width. I *think* that tensioner would be for the main drive belt, the forward belt. You would have to cross reference the part numbers.

Yes - I know. Sorry I used a double negative . It IS significant (conversely it isn't insignificant).

The smaller width one could be for the accessory (ie. the one closest to the engine) as that belt is narrower.

The idler pulley I have is also narrow too I believe. the Main belt - is thicker (the one that loops the fan clutch and crank).

I can't seem to find the part numbers for this - either on Rock Auto or other. The LR part for the arm AND pulley is readily available. I now see that the main belt tensioner seems to run 37mm - which none of the rock auto pulleys seem to work out...

will keep searching....
