RPM Fluctuations

RPM Fluctuations
I have a 06 LR3 with 51k on the odometer. Today after a filling the gas tank the RPM's will drop to 500 after coming to a full stop and then go back up to 750. This problem does not happen when i put the car in neutral and then come to a full stop. Is this a problem with low transmission fluid, and or a torque converter problem? Any help is appreciated!

I also can attest to this being a fix for the problem. I finally got around to doing this tonight after a month of procrastination and my idle issue getting worse and worse. Not only did cleaning the MAF and throttle body fix the idle issue but now I have noticeably more power. Never ignore maintenance!

Throttle body dirty?
I need to do this myself. I've notice the stop and go engine rpm fluctuation. It drops down to 500 than goes to 700. If I stop and go quickly, the engine/truck lurches forward. If I completely stop and wait a second i'm fine. Does this sound like my throttle body is dirty?

Finally!
Finally cleaned my MAF sensor, throttle bottle(man it was dirty) and I changed my air filter. Truck runs much better, idle doesn't go below 600 rpms when I stop and the engine has much more noticeable pick up. What a easy job and I'm glad I finally did it right before this big blizzard we're suppose to be getting in the NorthEast!
