Default Satellite Radio

I am interested in purchasing a Sirius Radio for my LR3. At the present time there is no factory add on for a satellite radio.
Has anyone had any success in placing one in their LR3 without using a window mount accessory?

I just recently had one installed up in the empty cubby space where the nav unit goes if you have nav. My cousin-in-law has the nav in his so he had his satellite radio installed in the space under the ash tray and it fits really good in there also. I had them place the antenna on the back of the car on the roof above the back door. My car is silver and I didn't want it to show in the front. They hard wired it in and it uses the aux button all for $70. I am fairly happy with it but now I wish I would have gone with XM. I can send you pictures of it installed if you like.
