Shifter Not mooving smoothly..
Back in December I had the bright idea to leave my moonroof open in anticipation of the storm. The entire cabin was soaked and I ended up throwing all sorts of codes, and the vehicle wouldn't move out of Park. I posted on here and ultimately dismantled the center console, sucked an inch of water out, dried everything with a pink hair dryer, and let the terrain response module stay inside for 24 hours. After re-assembling, it worked just fine.
Just in the last two weeks I'm noticing the shifter is being a little sensitive - harder (but still manageable) to move from Park to Drive, Reverse, etc. I'm wondering if there is a cable under their that got wet and might be rusting? before this turns into a bigger issue, anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks!
