Guys,




My drivers side view mirror just broke. I have no clue as to how. Where it would fold inward, it just came apart, separated into two pieces. It is duct taped for now but I really hate the look of that ! It seems like a clip or bracket of some sort is what broke and is now MIA.


I have searched the forums and a few people have had the same issue but know one seems to have a solution other than replacing the mirror housing.


Help?

Either get the part from a breaker or get the entire housing. Not what you want to hear, I know.

 

Yeah that's a real bummer.


I had a Nissan Sentra one time and the mirror got taken off by some maniac driver, I got a painted replacement for $24 shipped from Rock Auto.

I was hoping for something like that with this situation. I can't believe there isn't an aftermarket mirror available with as many people that have reported exploding mirrors...
