Sirius issues
#2
I'll offer this. Had a similar problem with one of my Mercedes-Benz OEM factory installed Sat radios (2008 CLS550) that would not seem to take an activation signal - ended up being that my radio would only accept the Sirrus standard subscription not the XM/Sirrus Premier sub. This after having MB change modules, check antenna, etc, etc....once I had Sirrus change to the standard subscription the radio activated...no more problems.
May not be applicable to you but you may want to ask Sirrus which subscription you have and try the alternative to see if you're vehicle will accept it.
Sounds like a "stretch" but that was the fix that solved my reception/activation problem.
