Default slow speed rattles not sway bar links or bushings

Good day everyone,

I am a little new to non D2 LR's and just got a 2006 RRS to start playing around with. I know this is the LR3 section but I feel I may have better luck finding a solution here than the diluted multi model RR section.

This said I have some slow speed clunks and rattles, mostly in parking lot speeds. I have already changes the links all around and and the bushings. This improved my overall situations but still have rattles in the front and rear at slow speed. Noting at high speed...

Any advice would be appreciated.

...by "bushings" you mean the sway bar bushings or the control arm bushings? Typically it's the front lower control arm rear bushings that cause the clunks. Also, check your heat shield around your spare tire...mine caused a rattle at one point.

yes I mean sway bar bushings... I suspect your right about the control arm bushings just didn’t want to believe it.

Get all the suspension bushings checked out on a lift with a large prybar. My rear bushings were shot... all of them. The front lowers also had play. It cost me $3000 CDN to have them all done. I bought the complete rear arms and just the bushings for the front and had my local shop do the install. Money well spent for another 10 years of solid, tight driving.
