Default RE: steering wheel wear spot!!!!

Having same issue with my '05 steering wheel. We'll see what they will do even thought its out of warranty. Taking it in for a back hatch that won't open. As to earlier question about battery life...replaced mine earlier this year after starting to experience some strange elctrical anomolies. Multiple warnings that didn't all fit together, but tied back to battery power.

LR dealer here just replaced mine under warranty. The service line was "Material Defect Steering Wheel Material Is Deteriorating- Delaminated"

Hope that helps for anyone trying to get it done under warranty.

Default do you guys think CPO warranty will cover this?

Hey gang -- I have an 05 HSE that I bought last month from a LR dealer as CPO. Its out of the "factory" warranty b/c of time but still under the 100 deductiblve CPO warranty.

And the top of the wheel is def delaminating (the leather). Do you guys think / has anyone ever had success at having this replaced under that CPO warranty?

I wish I'd noticed it from the selling dealer -- I would have just had it replaced then.

I bought the truck at the dealer 2.5 hours away otherwise I'd just drive on down there.
