Default Still need to deflate shock???

Would I still need to release air from my front shock via front valve block if I'm changing it out and the shock is already on its bump stops from the air already been leaked out? No right? The initial reason why I am switching it out is that I have a leak in the driver side shock somewhere. I'm pretty sure its from the air bag, I have about 190,000 miles on them.

Depends... Some leaks are caused by the high pressure in the bag. Once the pressure drops to a certain point the leak may sorta self-seal. If you have a GAP tool, you can deflate that corner to a certain level (it will never empty all the way). Or you can just carefully unthread the line from atop the shock, not at the valve block. You have to disconnect it there anyway to remove it.
