Sunroof fuse on 2006 lr3
It's listed in the manual. Junction box behind glove box. Fuse location: 20 rating: 15amp
Dont be surprised if the fuse is fine. You may need to calibrate the sunroof. With key in position 2, press and hold the close button and continue to hold as it opens and closes back up. It will take about 20 seconds before it starts moving, so you will be holding the switch for bit.

Recently I ignorantly pressed the open sunroof button on my lr3 while covered in some snow and ice. Not totally covered but just enough that the ice (duh, of course!) held it firmly closed while the little motor tried to move it. After that, the button never made the motor try again or made any sound at all even after all thawed and clear at 50F. So I was worried about an at least annoying repair if not costly for a motor.
All it needed was the above reset!!
I guess it's failsafe here is to g offline if an obstruction prevents any sunroof movement. Unlike the windows which you can continue pressing open/close to possibly break free of a little ice along its edge. This is probably not good for the window motors either and I will be more careful to clear all ice in the future before trying to use the window controls.
You are the man! I opened my sunroof a couple days ago and just left it open, tried to close this morning it and started to move for just a split second and then stopped… wouldn’t do anything. I checked the fuse and it was fine but I was freaking out because we’re supposed to have some storms this afternoon, luckily I came across your post!
