Suspension
Just a quick question:
When ever I am behind someone at like a drive thru the front of the truck lower's itself. I can't find any answer's on why my LR3 does this and I've asked several people and they have no idea why.
So If anyone knows why the truck lower's itself when close to another object or car I'd love to know the answer to this riddle i'm experiencing on my 05 LR3.

When I had air mine would "bow" in a drive thru. I just figured it was the computer thinking someone must be getting in because it was stopped for X amount of time and went into semi entrance height.
1st thanks for the reply!
You know that could be what's going on when it lowers in places like the drive thru. It doesn't do it any other time and most of the suspension components have all been replaced along with the air compressor. So maybe it's just that! I thought it may have some kind of sensor on the front to detect collisions or something and it lowers itself thinking their might be an impact or something. I guess one day I'll figure it out why it does that.

The suspension is just adjusting. It tends to do it more often at low speeds because the cross-link valve is open. So its really noticeable if you come off the highway and get into a drive-thru. There is no automatic lowering after sitting a while, etc. If that was the case, it would do it when put in park (like the Lincoln Mark VIII).
