Default Suspension Calibration Software

So I just swapped the motor out on my lr3 and I removed the front right height sensor to gain access. I did some searching and thought if I just removed one sensor, that it would calibrate itself but that is not the cause. Now I am getting a suspension fault and sag on that side.

So I did some more searching and found out I may need to have my suspension calibrated. My problem is that the nearest dealership is 3 hours away. I have seen some softwares out there that you can buy too.

Here's my question, does anyone have this DIY software that I can borrow or even rent for a fee?
I just need to use it once and can send it back.

Or it there a way to do it without the software?

Thanks

Removing and re-installing the sensor should not cause an issue like that. Are you sure you hooked both ends of the linkage back up? Maybe mounted the sensor upside down? Connector fully seated?

To answer your other question, you will need some sort of diagnostic interface. Many tools now do the procedure, even some catered to DIY'ers.

How in the world do you have the capability to do an engine swap but not an EAS calibration?

Haha the engine swap was an a$$ whipping. I did it in my garage without lifting the body.

But I am lost on the calibration. What do you suggest?

If something isn't right with the sensor, a calibration will not complete. Double check all of your work.

I re-calibrated mine with the IIDTool.

So I ordered the suspension recalibration tool and like it. Using it has taking away the error message and my truck is not kneeling in one corner.

Does anyone know what the different height settings are for access, normal, and off-road? Right now in normal, the front is 18" from the top of the center cap to the bottom of the wheel well and the back is 18.5".

I just don't know if that's too high or low?

Ride height is done in "normal" mode. That is the baseline and "access" mode will be a negative value from normal and "off road" will be a postive value from normal.

When you measure, you should measure from the center of the center cap (true center of the wheel) to the wheel arch as vertical as possible.

Front: 18.3 +/- 0.47 inches (465 +/- 12 mm)

Rear: 19.0 +/- 0.51 inches. (482 +/- 13 mm)

FWIW, I use MM because that is what the factory tool asks for and its a much more precise measurement.

But based on your readings, it sounds like you are spot on.
