You need these struts. All the aftermarket ones tend leak due to incorrect internal O ring sizes and some are old rebuilt struts. Get the new front valve block and you should be good to go. I'm surprised that your LR3 still had the Hitachi style compressor most were converted over to the AMK style as they all tend to fail after 8 to 10 years.

Ok, latest update...I replaced both from struts and the front still drops fairly quickly...like it's noticeable within a couple of hours. After testing both of the old front struts there was a pretty decent leak in one of them and the other had a very very VERY minor slow leak in it as well. So they definitely needed to be replaced. But that wasn't the only culprit I have just ordered a new front valve block...I guess if that isn't it then it must be the two front air lines?? Kind of unlikely that BOTH air lines would have cracks/leaks in them. I'm starting to get perplexed!
