Hi there. Hope you gents can aid me with my 2005 LR3. Less than a thousand miles ago, new tires were added.
1) At times, after the engine is warmed (15 minutes or more driving), LR3 would die when I press the accelerator. Engine light would come on and goes away.
2) at 70mph, the steering wheel would go straight. No problem. However, upon braking, notice that the steering wheel is non-responsive. I also noticed some tire noise. I took it in. The young man at Discount Tire told me: "Mam, tire noise is normal for an SUV" and had the tire rotated. Oddly, I never had the tire noise issue for 70,000 miles. Regardless, problems do not go away.
I know these symptoms are not specific enough for accurate diagnoses. However, any thing from your expert would help.
