Depends on the module, but for TPMS I'd tend to doubt it. What exactly is your air suspension doing?

Air suspension is doing nothing...at all. Mechanic tried replacing the relay with a used one to see if that was the problem....and they said it worked very briefly, (due to it being the wrong amp relay). They ordered a new relay and tried it the next day, but it didn't do anything. Now I'm just bouncing around.

I don't suppose you know if that compressor is an AMK or Hitachi, do you?

The Hitachi was the original OEM unit, then due to supply chain issues (tsunami) Land Rover sourced compressors from AMK (a German outfit). That occurred around 2011. When they switched, the relay needed to change, and when the AMK was installed the software needed to be updated. It's possible that your mechanic installed an AMK in place of a Hitachi and either didn't update the relay or the software; or both.

The relay is the same for either, there is no relay for one or the other.... it's just a simple common relay. Replacement is done because there is a lot of load with the compressor and relays do die. That is the only reason to replace the compressor relay.

Good info, Dakota. For some reason I thought they were different.

Nope. That why there is no different part number or why when looking for a compressor relay, the parts sites don't differentiate based on compressor brand installed.

Do you have the specific codes for the tpms errors? I'd start there.

Just found out that they put a Dorman brand air suspension compressor on my vehicle. Anyone know anything about this brand? Good? Bad? Could it be causing the issue? Please help if you can
