Which Tire should I get for my HSE
Hey guys. I bought an HSE couple of weeks ago and Im really happy with it, but I will need to replace tires soon. since its 19' they are not too many options.... the tires im considering so far are
the Michelin Latitude
Pirreli Scorpion (On/Off road)
and the new Goodyear Wrangler MT/R
I hear bad reviews and good on the pirellis, they sais since the SUV is heavy and it the tire is ade out soft compount it wont last long.
and I like the design of the Goodyear. but I mostly used the suv in the highway and some Off road.. not much. But im trying to get into the off road thing.... they look relly aggresive and big. now what would be the difference of using the goodyear oon the highway expect for the noise. will they last longer than the scopions? any reviews.... if Im going to invest good money on tires. I want to get something that will last me and be happy with it...
thanks

I usually have a lot to say about tires but I have zero experience with the MT/Rs and with tires in the 19" range. Will wait for someone else to chime in about the noise level but I would expect it to be louder than stock for sure.
The MTR may be louder but the vehicle is so well insulated it wont be like a jeep
I would go with the MTR ask disco 3web forums alot of europeans have been running the tire it is new here

Last spring I put Michelin Synchrone tires on my '06 LR3HSE. I have been happy with them so far. I would like to have more traction, as I drive it off road, but they are quiet and wear has been good so far. When I bought them the only tires available in the 19 inch size were this Michelin, the Pirelli Scorpion 0 and the Original equipment Goodyears. I didn't like the original Goodyear tires because they were noisey and didn't wear well.
I just mounted my second set of 19" MT/R's and they are great tires. Yes, they hum but they are tough on the trails and give the truck a more rugged look. I got mine from Discount Tire for $287.00 each mounted and balanced.
