In case I will disable it, using the Gap Tool, if I change the battery, does the car keep the new configuration or I must write it again?
GAP tools are VIN locked, so I don't think this option will come easy for you.
Unless you buy your additional VIN for someone else's tool (around $100us), or find someone who already spent $$$ on the Pro version.

A local Indie may be your best bet to disable this.
Or just buy your own GAP tool :-)

How do you know about Gap tool? Is there anybody that can confirm what you wrote?
So if I buy a new LR3 I have to buy the gap tool twice?!
I dont buy it

VIN transfer for owners is $37 (like if they buy a new LR3).

Do your own research.

Indeed, I can download the SSD software and I will operate through laptop. That tool can burn in hell, they wont make any profit with me. Thanks, not interested anymore about Gap Troll "easy fix" 👍

If you have tried two different TPMS modules, the issue is either the sensors in the wheels or a wiring issue.
You said the sensors were VDO, If this is a 2007, it uses 315 MHz sensors. Can you confirm that the sensors are 315 MHz and not 433MHz? It makes a difference because some of the newer European cars have 433 MHz and a generic parts dealer will see 433 MHz as "compatible with Land Rover" even if they are VDO brand.

I thought about that last night in the bed...the second hand module after 20km of driving (highway) learned just the front right sensor while the rest of the sensors were not. Infact the module kept the old information of the previous owner for the rest of the wheels.
Basically I need to replace the sensors (weird Autel tells me the batteries are OK)
Sensors are 315mhz and I doubt that 3 antennas are faulty. I will try with new sensors when winter will go away.

P.S.the first time I had the fault, Autel showed me both rear tires no communication.
So I swapped wheels, rears with fronts, as result I had again rear wheels and front left! To me it looks like that probably the sensors dont have enough power in order to communicate or yes a wiring issues.

How old are the sensors?
They typically only last ~10 years.

I bought the car 2 months ago, car is quite "new" 170.000 km, the only problem is this tpms issue and apparently being the sensors original VDO and car is 16 years...yeah I should invest some money to place new sensors and see what happens. I have all the file with tens papers about all the works done, I see many water leaks fixed, some light bulbs replaced (seriously people go to stealership to change a bulb!!!???), lower control arms...and no records about tpms sensors replaced.
