Default Valve block connector help.

Hi.

Lesson #1 for me today meant, that I should never replace something that it is not entirely out of order, a day before long trip. I changed oil , topped off front diff, check under for leaks and such and also decided to replace a front air suspension block valve. Simple task turned out to be a disaster as the usual suspect, plug on the car harness side has a broken orange rubber gasket inside the connector. Therefore I could not press a nw valve block female connector into it as the broker gasket would not allow me to fully seat the male part. Out of frustration I removed the rubber and both connectors finally clicked. It is not weatherproof for sure but I used a rubber glove and some electrical tape to waterproof it. My question i, do anybody knows where I can purchase this plug separately for a future replacement? When I called a local dealer, they aid that serviceable part on LR end seas not exist. What are my choices here ?

I had the SAME problem! In fact, its in a thread some place or a comment about how I serviced mine and it held for a long time until I did some touch trails, it started to break connection ever so slightly. Caused all sorts of confusion for me. So when I figured it out, I did the same. Took the orange seal out. I have been doing stupid stuff for some time and its not been an issue like that, but I did get a new connector from Atlantic British. It was not much, like $11 shipped. I just have to install it when I have time. Search their site for part: YPC800230G

Thanks Dakota Travler.
I apologize for not responding earlier as we were on camping vacation in place where was no service to respond whatsoever and that is how we like it ! J/ust came back last night. Now, In regards for a serviceable connector, were you able to de pin those six wires or just cut, strip and insert?

I have not installed it, but it looks like a standard connector that can be taken part and the pins moved over. You cant cut/strip/insert unless you have new pins handy, the plug is just a connector.

I had a broken connector on rear valve block. Got replacement connector from AB. Was able to remove pins and reinsert in new connector with no cutting needed. Electronic pin release tool from amazon or the like was helpful.

I have just purchased two of those serviceable connectors from AB. Lets see if the replacement will go smoothly or painful as it usually is on my almost 300 000 miles LR3.
