Default Vibration while stopped in drive

Have just recently noticed a vibration when I am stopped with the vehicle in drive. If I shift into neutral or park it goes away and in reverse it is noticeably less vibration. There is no slipping of the transmission and drives great otherwise. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I just noticed that if I press the gas just a bit while still in drive (stopped) the vibration goes away. What RPM does your LR3 idle at?

No ideas yet, what about neutral? Engine mounts? Anything loose under it?

May be time to clean the throttle body if you have age/miles on your LR3. Easy enough and plenty of helpful youtube videos...

Thanks for the advice but I cleaned it when I changed the belts a couple months ago. Do you think it could have built up that quick.

Might want to examine your "Transmission Support Insulator" (i.e. transmission mount) and see if it is cracked or damaged. I don't know how easy it is to examine because the manual describes it as being located above the support cross member, but I would hope it's visible.
