Default Weird suspension noise situation

So, I had the rear sway arm bushings replaced last September, the clunking noise was obvious. Directly after, the air suspension gave out. I didn’t have much time to deal with it and the truck sat on the bump stops for several months. When I did get to it, the truck had one side jacked up off and on for weeks until I figured out it was the compressor. Got that sorted and now I’m hearing clunks that sound similar to the worn sway arm bushings. Could have been I just didn’t notice them before as the sway arm bushings I replaced were clunking quite loudly.

Anyway, would the sitting on bump stops or the lengthy time being jacked up on one side put stress on the sway bar or control arm bushings causing wear?

tks

Short answer: no it’s not the sway arm bushings

Usually I hear them when going over smaller bumps on the road. Not under acceleration or deceleration and not over speed bumps.

Start by idling along at 5mph or less and briskly SNAP the brake pedal. Does it make the "clunk" sound in that case?

Ok, so I tried the slow brake test. I do seem to get a clunk. It’s a little different but something is audible.

Control arm bushings. Front lower arms, rear bush.

You replaced the rear bushings on the front lower control arms?

In your original post you stated that you changed the rear swaybar bushings, and those are not the ones I'm talking about.

Got it. Tks for clarifying

im guessing the best course of action will be to replace the entire from lower control arm package, bushings and arms.
