Holy *****! I cannot believe I did it… Got the transmission out - replaced all the seals. did the same thing with the transaxle. replaced the front half shaft while I was in Because I damaged the bearings … put it all back together and she runs better than ever. What an awesome success after a really difficult set of problems!

Seal kit was $70 on eBay,
Gott a case of mercon sp from Amazon for $90
and the shaft was a freebie from a donor

That was a very very involved job. Now I understand the high cost to rebuild transmissions. I did set the video camera up while I was taking it out so after the Halloween holiday I’ll do a little video editing and see what I can put together.
