Been up on jack stands for weeks, this is how she sits now. Guess I'm ordering a compressor afterall.

Not necessarily, lift it from the chassis and put it on stands and let it fill in short runs so not to overheat the compressor.

Tried that, compressor doesn't want to come on now.

Both rear LCA, UCA replaced on both sides. The right side was the problematic one but left got done for good measure and because if the right side lasted this long the left would probably eventually go soon, too. New knuckles, knuckle bushes, bearings, hubs on both sides. And one outer CV joint since the old one was kind of destroyed on the right. And new brake disks, shoes, etc. and an alignment as well as mandatory inspection as it failed the first time. There is an insane difference in how it handles compared to previous.

…. And a new prop shaft.

While not as extensive as the last post…replaced the battery, failed alternator (internal short), and water pump (leaking bearing). All the residual drained coolant has finally evaporated and no more drips. All easy repair/replacement components.

This week it was the grey LR3 that got a new drivers side front strut and a new front valve block.

I have been sitting on a new radiator all summer and casually buying all new engine cooling hoses. Well I finally got around to installing it all. I will have a separate thread that goes over a couple small things I found along the way. But it sure feels good to have a nice new radiator! And the hoses.... wow... all I can say is I am very glad I tackled this before my next trail outing. But I have NOT done any of the heater core hoses yet, but after finding what I did I now very much plan to expedite that project too. I also put new belts on even though the old ones were fine and installed a new primary tensioner from Dayco. Still need to replace the secondary tensioner at some point.

Front valve block and front struts, and it's been on it's tippy toes overnight so that's better!
Now to ponder why the rescue rover goes to off-road height as a default and wont change.
