What's a good A/T tire choice for LR3 with 19s?
I just bought my daughter an LR3 and it has 255/55/19 Michelin all season tires on them. I thought about picking up a good used set of A/T tires for the few winter months that we have here in the Texas panhandle. But I don't see A/Ts in that size. Any suggestions?

I’ve had both the Michelin’s and the Cooper Zeon LTZ in that size, at the same time actually as I had an LR3 and a Range Rover. Both performed well in snow and ice, so no reason to replace them if I were you. Was debating what to put on my LR3 in the next few months, and both mentioned tires are once again on my list, despite the very different nature of each.

Good evening Husker - I went through the same issue. I have an '09 LR3 and the cursed 19" rims. After a ton of research there are about 2-3 options. Some of the crew that responded named the few available. I went with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac...looks great! If you want I can send you some pics.

I've been looking into this as well since my HSE has 19's and for what I'm going to be doing with the vehicle I think it's going to be cheaper to find a set of used 18's. The Duratrak looks to be one of the more off road capable tires but in the 19" size they are about $320 each give or take a little depending on the place selling them. If I had 18's I could run the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in 265/65/18 for $176 each. I had this tire on my sequoia and for the mixed use it saw it did really well. Plus going to an 18 gives a lot more tire options and usually with a decent cost savings as well.

Yeah, Cooper Zeon would be a good choice. The only 19" rim size seems to be 255/55R19. I have not personally used the Cooper Zeon's, but I do have the Cooper Discoverer AT3 on my LR3, on 18" Rims. The Zeon is a little more 'aggressive' than the Discoverer AT3's, and AT3's are not available for 19" rim size.
