I just purchased a well dealer maintained 2007 LR3. I want to do some light off roading no rock crawling or anything and i'm curious as to which suspension or driveshaft components you all were recommend replacing or servicing? it has 125,000 miles with no noticeable sounds coming from the suspension. Also willing to replace any of those "well while you have that off you might as well replace this" parts.

 

Do your fluid changes, and check the carrier bearing rubber surround on the rear drive shaft.

 

Ok! I can check those. I called a local British mechanic in my area and they refused to replace transmission fluid without documentation of previous fluid change. Waiting on dealer quote for pan and filter replacement.

 

It can be a crap shoot on the trans. I meant more oil, transfer case, diffs
