'11 LR4 100K+ miles DIY maintenance schedule?
Hi guys,
My 2011 LR4 has been trouble-free for 120K miles now.
Like many I started doing the oil changes, filters and brakes myself.
What else needs to be monitored and maintained though on ongoing basis? (has not been to the dealer since 80K miles)
Would be great to see a schedule of actually-needs-to-be-done maintenance tasks from AtlanticBritish or similar vs. the overkill/expensive services dealers and indie shops do to juice sales.
The motor has gotten louder in recent months when not warmed up. Used to have a cyclical ticking sound (once every couple of seconds) when idling cold, but that's gone now.
Many thanks for sharing your experience and expertise.

Wow, that is awesome! I've put about $12K in maintenance & repairs into my 2013 LR4 between 100K and 130K miles. I'll list some of the highlights:
- Changed transmission fluid, filter & solenoid at 100K mikes using the Atlantic British kit with the metal pan.
- Changed transfer case fluid and fluid in differentials
- Replaced rear coolant manifold and front coolant crossover pipe. When these brittle plastic parts implode you buy an engine.
- Replaced cooling fan as the cooling fan clutch failed causing lots of noise near the radiator.
- Another set of front lower control arms plus a set of new rear upper control arms. (Buy them from AB)
- Leaking passenger side valve cover gasket and leaking upper timing cover gasket that dripped oil into the alternator and killed it.
- New rearview camera and wiring harness from water leak
- New steering rack
