Default 2012 LR4 Transmission Service

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2012 LR4 with 155k miles and no history of a trans fluid flush.

I believe the manual states “lifetime” fluid change at 150k.

would it be wise to drop the pan and install the upgraded metal pan & fill with new fluid if the trans has 0 issues?

yes... its new to you, its in the mileage range. I would do ALL fluids. Base line the entire set-up. This way you know what you have in and can see what was coming out.
