Hey I am new to this forum. I also have a blown engine with no warning - looking for help in the Atlanta, Ga area. Supercharger over-boosted - which has lead to oil leak, timing chain loose. Recommended work is: replace engine and supercharger, catalytic converters as well. They say repair with a new engine is more than car is worth. Can a used engine be an option and does anyone have recommendations for a shop in or around the Atlanta area.

Yes, there are re-man engines available for far less than a new one.

 

okay how and where should I begin my search and do you have a shop around Atlanta area you would recommend to do the rebuild/repair?

 

I am not sure if I replied to your messages. Thank you for responding to me, I am a fish out of water right now. If you were looking for a re-man engine where would you buy and do you know anyone in the Atlanta area that you would recommend to do the work? I am also open to having someone help me or I would be willing to pay them to do the work.

Find a specialist first, another engine's no use without someone to fit it. Sorry, I've no one in your area to recommend.
