Due to a not so loud but minor squealing of the AC blower I had ordered a new fan and Cabin Filter. Opened the lower glovebox using the side clips per a YT video and pulled the old filter. Nice and new looking but installed upside down - airflow arrow the wrong way! Sheesh. Installed a new carbon activated filter in correct position.
Now, how do I get that bottom cover below the motor off so I can change out the motor? Can't see any noticeable screws and certainly don't want to break anything. Anyone aware of a pictoral set of instructions or a good YT video that shows someone doing a 2015 LR4 (or similar)?
:-) Table of contents, under Heating and Ventilation. No charge this time ;-)
Cheers!
Whew! Thks... I can see i have to brush up on my Yank modern English to Brit/Canadian English translations! I spent over an hour searching how to replace the battery in my KEY FOB. Little did I realize I had to search for "Remote Wireless Ignition Device"!!!!!! 😳
Of course I'm just being a bit flip here --- all in jest & good humor. My cousin & family are British and i spent several years of summers in lovely Canada.
And I found the info - thanks Guy! Hoping I can just get that bottom cover & motor out without having to remove the entire glovebox assembly. While not too daunting, more time allotment than i want to invest this week.
Great forum here. Appears to be a LOT of folks/owners of these vehicles.
