Default 2015 - LR4 SCV6 - 18" Wheel & Tire Options

I just picked up my 2015 LR4 HSE LUX this weekend. Looking to pickup some wheels and tires and now just learning that the SCV6 have too large of rotors to run the 18" TuffAnt Steelies or most 18" wheels in general. TuffAnt does make a 5 spoke alloy wheel for the SCV6 but don't like the look and not sure I dig the PD1881 Comp's either. I guess I could run these worse case.

I would be looking at running an 18" wheel with the BF Goodrich 265/65/18 KO2's. Many seam to have good luck with those with no additional modification.

Is it a realistic idea to downgrade the rotors to comfortably fit the 18"s? What all parts are involved to do that, is there a kit? Any other ideas for me or wheels options not involving spacers? Thanks

[See attached pics of the new ride]

The only way 18s would not fit is if the P.O. swapped in the 06 RR supercharged calipers.

On a stock lr4, the tuffant steelies most certainly fit without modification. There is no difference between V8 calipers and rotors, and the SCV6's.

Ditto what Oldman said: Tuffant’s fit - did a lot of research on this - didn’t end up with them because they were out of stock for a long time. Not sure where you heard they did not fit.

Last I checked, Tuffants had two different offsets in the steelie for the LR4. If I remember correctly, they had a -27 and -44 option, and both fit, but with a 265/65/18 tire, I think the -44 gave a little more clearance on the horn. If you email them, they’ll give you all the info you need.

I don’t think any other steel wheel will fit on this car without spacers despite looking the same as the Tuffants (except the new Defender steel wheel from what I understand).
