Hi everyone.

i have a 2016 discovery 4 (LR4) right hand drive.

it is throwing up the current error code in iiD tool

B002A-13 (AB) Right Curtain deployment control 2 - General electrical failure - circuit open

anyone able to help with what is causing this or where I might begin to look. Is this the airbag above the driver or in the front pillar?

 

Did you have any work done which resulted in removing the a-pillar trim?

 

Yes, but on the passenger side - when it says right side, I assumed it meant Right as in UK drivers side? I did remove the A pillar trim on the passenger side to remove a dashcam cable as the vehicle is being sold. have i got my sides mixed up?

 

As you seat in any seat in the vehicle, there is only one right and left side of the vehicle.

 

yes I understand that is there something in the A pill ar i should be looking for

As the side curtain airbag and connector is located in the a-pillar, and as you were in there; I’d be confirming something wasn’t jostled.
