Default Am I just S.O.L with 19in wheels???

Hey All!

I am new to the Land Rover world, I recently purchased a 2010 LR4. I am thinking about upgrading the height sensor rods to gain just a bit more ground clearance and add bigger tires.

After a bit a research it appears that no company makes A/T or Mud tires to fit a 19in wheel. Am I correct? I would like to run a 32" ish tire and it doesn't seem possible with my stock wheel.

I am not looking to break the bank on wheels so I was wondering if other model Rover stock wheels like in the 18" or 20" sizes would fit my LR4??? If not, what are some suggestions on reasonably priced wheels that offer me some choices in tires.

Thanks all.

I'm sure others will chime in. 18" - no, brake's are too big. 20" probably. About the best you can do with the 19" are Cooper Zenon's. There is an 18" that will fit from England, but outside of that, we're SOL if you want to go smaller.

There is info on expedition portal about fitting smaller.

Basically, you buy 1.25" spacers, LR3 18" wheels and then tire of choice. The Compomotives out of England are around $1400 shipped.

It may be possible to swap down to LR3 brake calumets and run stock 18" wheels with no spacers

22's would be worthless for any sort of an off road or trail rig. There are some more tire options with 20's than with 19's but it would be preferable to have more of a sidewall than that. Overland Journal did a build of an LR4 and they used some sort of spacer I believe to fit 18" wheels.

On eBay you can sometimes find the 255/55R19 Goodyear MTR tires that were used on the G4 cars.
