Im new to the boards but need some help in answering a question/resolving an issue. Please 2011 owners only. When you are in reverse with the backup camera on and you receive a phone call, does your camera turn off and show the phone call on screen or does it stay on the camera until you shift out of reverse? We have an ongoing dispute with our service dept who says that it is normal with all 2011s and only the 2013 functions properly i.e. the camera will not turn off when a phone call is received. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Read the owners manual to double check. Its possible they changed the programming after a few years.

 

Yes, 2011 LR4 does change from the backup camera to the phone screen when you get a phone call while backing up.
