Anyone replaced the LR4 motor mounts?
Surprisingly little online about changing mounts on the 5.0L.
Have you done it or had a dealer suggest it? I have a 2013 LR4 with almost 130k miles. I can see the engine twist towards the passenger side. I’m also noticing some new vibrations in the cabin. So, my guess is mounts.
Curious if OEM parts are best vs Corteco (who might be the OE supplier). Also, any chance of doing without removing exhaust manifolds, etc? Transmission mount replacement at the same time?
I did find something that mentioned single use bolts.

Corteco are fine. You actually have to remove the mount brackets to remove the exhaust manifold. So I think you're good leaving them in place and just doing the mounts. No mention of single use bolts for the engine mounts in the service manual.
transmission mount required removal of the cross member. Lots of working around a floor jack. If you have access to a lift and transmission jack, I would highly recommend it.

I haven’t yet. I have gotten quotes for 5-7 hours. Still want to, but that is a fair amount of money!
I noticed that the oil pan area at the bottom is small. Not sure if I would raise the motor by the oil pan alone. Maybe something under the harmonic balancer instead. If you go for it, let me know how it goes. I haven’t set aside the time to deal with it.

I’ve never seen any of these motor mounts actually fail but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen. I have had the right one off a bunch changing the high pressure fuel pump and lines and you could definitely do it in the ground with a jack and a block of wood. The left one will be harder because the steering shaft is going to get in the way, going to have to remove the bolt at the rack and just lift the steering shaft up and out of the way for that one.

Looking at the Workshop manual you have to remove the steering column lower shaft to get to the left hand side one. I've not eyeballed it personally but it sounds reasonable.

I finally dropped off the truck to have the mounts replaced. I didn’t get details around how they were removed other than to see the upper control arms had been removed. Those ended up replaced as well. I noted moderate tearing of the rubber in one of the mounts through the oval hole in the side. The other mount was starting to tear. Fluid still seemed to be in the mounts. Overall height was about 5-8mm shorter. I notice grooves in the rubber that seem above the metal bracket on the new one.
