i hope someone can help who had same or similar issue! 🙏
I recently drove and suddenly the bluetooth audio connection started to fail. It dis- and re connected itself a few times. Seemed weird. Then i tried to listen to Radio, but it also got cut off. Still showing a channel but couldn't select another. I thought maybe disconnecting the battery would help, but it didn't. I got worried. Next day no change. Then the audio source field in the infotainment system just went blank. No more sound. Also the navigation system said "loading" from now on. And there is a noice coming from cd changer below, as if its constantly changing.
Thats been it now for almost a week. I went to Land Rover dealer and they tried to update the software but couldn't. Aparently they got an error message that something is wrong with the "MOST" cable or network. And said they would need many hours to even find out whats wrong. I can't afford to spend 1k only to find out what is wrong and had hope maybe someone here could give me a hint! 🙏 Maybe something i can check myself or change myself. Its a 2015 Range Rover Supercharged with a harman kardon logic7 sound system. Never had any issue before.
I attached a picture of the infotainment system. You can see i can't select any audio source anylonger. When i press on it nothing happens.
Well, first off, if you haven’t been mucking about with the MOST wiring, I would lean towards its not that.
These modules are known to “wear”. Become defective or messed up programming.
I would start with a hard reset of the electrical systems, then try again. Only as that's the easiest path. From there, diagnose the module, and from there diagnose the MOST.
If there has been mucking about, correct what was played with first, of course.

1. How do i do a hard reset?
2. I've been trying to locate the bluetooth module. Can someone tell me where to find it? The harmon kardon amp and stuff as well not sure where it is
A hard reset is
1. disconnect all batteries.
2. touch the positive and negative leads together (to ensure a discharge the entire system)
3. reconnect the batteries.
4. the vehicle will go through a learning phase. Go for a 20 min drive, both city and highway driving.
( it should stand to reason that any flash memory will need to be reset.)
There was no evidence provided in your first post that this is solely a BT issue. In fact, with the evidence you provided I’m leaning towards a MOST network failure. This could be as simple as one of the devices on the network has failed, thus breaking the ring.
The question is ‘which one’.
The BT module is behind the RH cargo area side panel.
Either way, you or the shop will need to diagnose the source of the error. If you don’t have the experience and tools…. time is money. And a qualified tech deserves to be paid.
Sorry to hear about your audio troubles – that sounds super frustrating, especially since it’s affecting both your music and navigation. It does seem like the MOST cable or network might be the culprit, as your dealer mentioned. The fact that it affects multiple systems points to a network issue rather than just a single component.

so you state in your post this is a 2015 range rover ??? wrong forum ??, there is no " MOST " network on that vehicle
start with basic diagnostics , fuses power, ground , if your dont know what your are capable of qualified tech needs to be paid to diagnose
infotainment modules are located throughout the vehicle , under seats, behind instrument panel, etc different markets also have different components and locations

The L405 Range Rover has Meridian sound systems - a 13-speaker 380-watt system, a 19-speaker 825-watt surround sound system and the 29-speaker, 1700-watt Signature system. Harman/Kardon in the RR ended in 2012 with the L322.
I had identical issues. I seem to have solved it by isolating the most bus on the amplifier only. Everything now seems to work fine. Bluetooth connectivity between phone and head unit now works, audio works, everything is back to normal. I'm not sure what's missing as a result of disconnecting (and looping) the most bus. Time may tell, but at this stage I'm happy to leave it disconnected.
