Hi

I currently lease a 2016 LR4 HSE. I love the SUV. It is a 39 month lease that comes due July 2019. I currently have 24,000 miles on it, I put about 8K miles a year.

Torn weather I should buy it at the end of the lease.

Reasons to buy it:
I really like the car, and don't really like anything else that is new.
It is the last model year of the LR4.
It has low mileage, huge capacity and 3 rows.

Reasons not to buy it:
The buyout after tax is about $39K - so almost $40,000 for a 3-4 year old car.
If I finance short term, the payment is fairly high, and if I finance long term, I'll still be paying for a 6,7,8 year old car.
Extended warranty? CPO?

Please advise!!!!

 

I'd say buy it for the all the reasons you state in your "Reasons to" and particularly since you know the car's full history from day one.
