Default Extended Roof Rails in Black

Hello All,
I have a 2016 LR4 and LOVE it. It does not have the roof rails. I am looking to buy the extended rood rails in black. If anyone has a good source please link here. If anyone is selling theirs, even better! I am very nervous about buying the cheap ones from Ebay due to fit and quality concerns, but I really don't want to spend $800 from the dealer! Please help!
thanks -Tom

There are alternatives other than Ebay and LR. There's a LR original set on the bay for $400, admittedly in silver but you can spray them black for the cost of a can of self-etching primer and a couple of cans of rustoleum and a can of top coat. Just sprayed my silver ones black. Came out very well but agree it's a hassle. I agree that I'd stay away from the bottom end of the market. Rimmerbros and LRDirect will ship to the US competitively.

Hello Tom - just curious if you were able to find a source for your rails? I just ordered a set from RimmerBros, but will not arrive for two weeks. Now looking into non-OEM crossbars for my 2012 LR4.
Cheers,
Jeff

Hey Jeff,
I was never able to find an aftermarket source for the extended rails unfortunately. Still no rails for me. =)

Do you want non-OEM cross bars for a reason or can't you find any? They come up from time to time and no doubt will be on ebay. Look out for RRS cross bars of the same vintage that are often very much cheaper. These simply need to be trimmed a little to fit the LR4 (measure first as the gap at the front between the roof rails and at the rear are slightly different). 10 min job with a hacksaw to cut them down.
