2015 LR4 - After seeing a FB post regarding a "cooler option", I found one on Ebay and thought what the heck. Installed today. Wasn't too bad to do, but Gotta say, the dash/console/etc parts held by clips are really in there after 10 years.

UPDATE: So I had to go down the road for about a 45 minute drive and thought it a good time to test the new cooler. Cooler temp was 80F when I got in, and I put a small bottle of water from the fridge which was 40F as measured by my IR gun. Got to my destination and cooler wall was showing about 25F and the water was about 30F. I'd say they work well for extended drives. Probably not very useful for trips around town but did well today.

While I didn't have the cool box in my LR4, I do have the fridge in my Defender and I absolutely love it! The older cars are not a refrigerator and technically are a cool box. The newer ones, like in my Defender, are actual refrigerators with a compressor and a metal chamber to keep things extra cold. Mine gets down to 38°F. You'll love it!
