Why is it JLR has abandoned owners of older vehicles (both Jag and LR). I haven't seen any GPS map upgrades available since about 2014? My cheap Garmin is updated for free several times a year, but the old $200 CD's aren't even available. Anybody know of a venue for getting better maps for both a 2010 LR4 and a 2008 Jaguar XJ. This is just the irritating, picayune corporate failure that drives committed owners crazy and could surely have a cheap fix!

 

New maps are available for the LR4, but it isn't on a DVD, its downloaded via a hard drive through the connector behind your glove box. That unfortunately requires a trip to the dealer.

As for the XJ, the newest map I see in the official MAP store is 2012, so I guess that is it for that, which is a bummer.
