Default HD Radio not working

I’ve checked a few forums including this one and of course a general Google search, but I haven’t been able to get the HD Radio working on my 2011 HSE. It did work for at least a week after I picked it up, although I did have to turn it back on a couple times in the settings menu. I use BT music streamed through a BOVEE BT adapter most of the time, but like HD radio as well.

I’ve tried using the GAP Diagnostic Tool to alter the settings (of which there are about 10 options). My car is fitted with the “mid range” stereo including HD Radio and Sirius / XM as well. Has anyone had this problem and resolved it? I feel it’s likely a software issue as opposed to hardware / antenna issue. I’ve installed aftermarket stereos in other cars that had HD Radio and I don’t recall a special antenna nor did I ever have an issue with them not working.

thanks

Also looking for that answer. My 2010 LR4 can pick up (receive) the HD channel if I 'Enable' HD radio stations (usually following an initial start of the vehicle). But if that HD station drops out for poor reception, the radio disables HD stations altogether. Then I have to go back into the radio settings and re-enable the HD stations reception.

I found this link to another HD radio issue so I might see if it’s an easy part to replace and not too expensive. I need to learn more about the whole HD radio and system in the LR4 as well.

the HD radio part is LR008322. $560 at the dealer….

remanufactured for $125. https://www.1factoryradio.com/produc...9h22-19c034-ac
