Default Land Rover Protection Policy

I am thinking of buying Land Rover Protection Policy for my LR4 2011 from Land Rover dealership. Price seems reasonable, but i never done it before. This is my 4th Land Rover and every next model adds a lot more fancy electrical stuff which are potentially first to break.

Does anyone have any experience with using this type of policy after original factory warranty ran out ?

Thanks

Using Land Rover's extended warranty is simple enough. It tends to be fairly expensive however. I suppose "expensive" is a very objective term. As long as you're buying a "Land Rover" extended warranty you'll have no issues using it in the future.

I bought mine from a Buick dealer and still had a remaining factory warranty. Got teamed up and they put fear of Rover electronics in wife amidst my objections in having 15 yrs. experience in Rovers and 49 yrs. automotive experience. Wife said you are getting older and bought a 75,000 mile warranty, which only extended my factory by 25,000 miles, and cost $4200. Get the Land Rover policy. If you read owner's manual there is a warranty on all electronics and mechanicals that are emission related to 100,000 miles.
