LR4 Audio Upgrade & Improvement...
I have an LR4 Landmark and it is equipped with what LR feels is high quality audio system however it is lacking in many ways and nothing close to what I have in other vehicles.
I would like to upgrade to something with far more clarity and a little more bass without losing the mids. Does anyone on here know if there is a plug and play option? One which improves the factory set up without changing the looks and has factory integration. I do not want bass boxes or crossovers and big bulky amps.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.

The single, biggest impact on the audio system is adding sound damping material too all the doors, and rear tail gate.
Another option is switching the sub out for a Low Profile 10", and sealing the lowers rear tailgate. Also adding a better sub amp will make a difference in the output.
Those two items let the system perform as it was designed.
The issue is a lot of the sound is transferred to the this metal door, causing rattles and absorbing a lot of the sound.

Dynamat was in the plans already. That is where I noticed the weakness in the system from my first Landmark. This one does not have nearly as many rattles or squeaks but it will definitely receive the sound deadening treatment in general. It would be a waste of time to have the vehicle apart and not add that. (IMO)
