LR4 with blank screen help!
Hello all,
newbie here - I am about to part ex my 2014 Range Rover evoque for a 2014 LR4. The car was meant to be delivered to me on Wednesday but the garage rang to say when they started it the main screen was blank and still now they are in the process of trying to rectify it!
Any ideas if this is a common fault and maybe just a case of when the battery runs flat it can cause this!? I have only paid a deposit at the minute but is already casting doubt in my mind!?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is it very cold where you are and if so was the vehicle outside? Is it a LR dealer or Indie or just some random seller?
Low voltage either through cold or weak battery/alternator (and exposure to a weak alternator will kill a good battery quickly) are most likely culprits assuming all fuses etc are intact. Worth getting the alternator and battery properly checked out or get it with a warranty. Screen failures don't seem common per se.

it has been a little cold recently (I’m in England) but nothing where I would expect it to cause this kind of issue.
I don’t honestly know how long it has been on the garage forecourt so my guess is that the battery has ran flat, they have charged it and now the screen/s (hse luxury) don’t come on. All 3 screens were working as in the photos where they advertised the car they were all clearly on and working.
The garage (non dealer) is in the process of trying to get this rectified at a land rover specialist who apparently has said that a full software update should sort it!?
