Lr4 drivers window not working
Have a problem with my drivers side window not working. I have replaced the master switch (all other windows and mirrors work on the switch) have changed the motor but still the window will not work no power any ideas or things i can try
The other thing to check is the OBDII codes. The car will sometimes set a code that shuts down a circuit to protect the hardware. This has been reported in other forums for certain types of failures in the rear latch mechanism, so I imagine it might apply to the window modules as well.
The other thing you might try is just holding the switch down (or up) for a little while to see if the module resets. I mention this only based on some vague recollection of something I read in the past, but might be worth a try.
Assuming there are no codes and holding the switch doesn’t work, I think he only thing left to do is trace the wiring circuits. The switch pack has power and ground connections, and sends a signal to the drivers door window control module. If the other windows operate off the drivers door switch pack, then you must have power and ground to the switch pack. Looks like the drivers mirror, window, and lock run off the same control module, so if your drivers mirror and lock is working/moving, then you must also have good ground and power to the control module. I think that leaves only two things: (1) the wiring from the control module to the motor itself, and (2) the circuit in the control module that controls the motor (since the mirrors and other things seem to work, the module itself seems to be operational, but I suppose there could be a problem with just that one control circuit).

I have the same problem wit the driver side window. Same condition as you of the master switch - replaced master switch but same condition. What was your resolution?
This has happened to me several times in my 2014 LR4. None of the window fuses are bad when I check. It is always the 5A #40 fuse in the glovebox fusebox.
Indeed. Mine conked out just now. Checked 30 and 32. Ended up replacing fuse 40. 2nd time in 3 months. All good now. Whew.
