LR4 Ignition Coil Codes
I recently replaced the following: (2) High Pressure Fuel Pumps, (1) Crankcase Breather Hose, (8) Ignition Coils and Spark Plugs and (2) Valve Cover Caskets. Did a recent oil change and replaced the oil filter. I am getting error codes along with misfire at idle. The codes are as follows: Ignition Coil P0357, P0355, P0351, P0353. It appears that they are all located on the driver side of the V8 Block. Wondering if it could be some wiring issues as the valve cover on that side was difficult to remove and could have loosened some wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I include a scan report for reference.
Those codes are all for open circuit of the ignition coils. The only thing common besides the PCM is the ground for them. It is a small eyelet that bolts to the timing cover with an 8mm bolt just to the passenger side if the idler pulley.
Hugh,
Thank you for your insight on the issues I was having. You were spot on with the diagnosis and remedy. This has been driving me nuts since I did all the fixes on my LR4. I had a quick look at the ground and it was not tightened. A quick snug on the nut and it's running like a charm. I like my LR4 again. For now.

Digging this thread back up to see if anyone has any more information on where this eyelet bolt is?
I replaced my valve covers, ignition coils, and spark plugs ~2 months ago and everything was going well until I started the car a few days ago after dropping my kids off at day care and the car went into limp mode. I checked the codes and got misfires in cylinders 1, 2, 6, and 8, as well as Ignition Coil B, D, F, and H having a high circuit. My battery was old so I thought that may have been the issue and I limped over to the nearest autoparts store and got a new battery. This fixed the issue for ~15 miles (3 start cycles) until it came back with just the ignition coil codes. I think when I disassembled everything I may not have torqued the ground bolt correctly and it has now worked its way loose and caused the fault since everything is isolated to the drivers side.
Thanks in advance for any help! Here are the codes for reference:
P0306-00 (Misfire)
P0304-00 (Misfire)
P0352-13 (Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit)
P0354-13 (Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit)
P0356-13 (Ignition Coil F Primary/Secondary Circuit)
P0358-13 (Ignition Coil H Primary/Secondary Circuit)
