LR4 Keyless Entry stashing for Surfers, swimmers, runners, etc.
I been searching around the forums and other sites to find a answer to this question, and I think I found the answer so I will go ahead and post it here.
Well I surf a lot, and something we used to do this is place a key in our wetsuits for our cars while we were surfing.
With the new 2012 LR4 keyless entry, I can't take it in the water with me.
I found a neat solution!
If you wrap the key in tinfoil it doesn't get detected by sensors! I take a rectangular tinfoil, and fold in twice, twice, and then wrap that around the key.
To stash the key, I got a Land Rover Trailer Tow Hitch Receiver, then got a 'hitchSafe' (Hitch Safe, Key Storage Hitches, Hide Car Key, Auto Key Safe, Trailer Hitch Covers, Receivers) to lock the key in.
I figured this would be useful to somebody out there.

This is actually sort of genius.

I am not a LR4 person, but what detects the sensor on the key fob? What is the sensor on the key fob, I guess is the next question, that you have to make it not function to make the hitch safe useful?
